I'm Kori Dorn, 43, a stay-at-home-mom to my wonderful Melanie.  In forums and chats, I go by BubblyKori.  I am so honored and excited to be joining Doris' Creative Team!  Before Melanie was born, I was a Senior Loan Processor for Chase Manhattan.  My Melanie turned 7 on Halloween, yes, born 10/31/98!!  The best-ever Halloween Treat!  Married to my hubby, John for 13 years, together for 15 years, our first date was on Halloween, 1990.  Yes, a mere 8 years after our first date, our little girl was born!  LOL

I found the wonderful world of signature tags on 7/22/03 and become obsessed! I started to learn PSP in November 2003 and enjoyed it a great deal.  I've taken several classes in PSP and am considered an advanced user.  I was even a beta tester for PSP 9!  I then discovered the world of digital scrapbooking on 9/17/05 and became so excited to explore an entire new creative outlet!  I can finally mesh my amateur photography, computer geekiness and artistic flair into one focus!

Mostly I scrap my daughter Melanie; she is the source of most of my scrapping inspiration. Sometimes, I get inspired by layouts I see or themes I read about.  I like looking at galleries and get ideas for different techniques.  I also like sketches, I don't always follow them and even when I do, I make some changes; I have only followed a sketch precisely a few times.  It has to 'feel' right to me.  I mostly go by instinct, what looks 'right' to me.  I do appreciate constructive criticism, as it can help "tweak" a layout and give me ideas on how to improve.
