About Me
Hi! My name is Doris Castle (that's where I got the name Castle-Creations.com!) and sometimes Mommy.... I am a stay-at-home mother of
three and know the golden value of pictures and do my best to make the
best possible products to showcase your treasures.
I am a former graphic
artist and have an "eye" for design and use this and my "crafty" nature to
make scrapbooking designs.
I have always loved photos and everything about them! When
I delve into something – I do it with a passion! I got a new camera from
my husband for Christmas one year and that started my passion for
photography which grew into a passion for scrapbooking. First I was taking
pictures of everything! I even won a couple local contests. Then I
discovered scrapbooking my pictures. I was hooked from the beginning. I
was a traditional paper scrapper and sold my creations on Ebay.

When I started scrapping on the
computer I felt I had found my “calling”. Before I had my three wonderful
daughters I was a successful freelance graphic designer. I created a
variety of items from menus to posters to magazine covers. This gave me
the experience using computer graphics programs and my sense of design. I
started my freelance graphic design business while I was majoring in
Marketing at Syracuse University. I have always been drawn to making
design elements whether it be a logo for a company or a charm for a
scrapbook page.
I love how a scrapbooking layout can
really give a photo more meaning. Elements can convey a message or a
feeling of how you treasure the photo and ultimately the subject of the
photo.
